My Role

My role conjoined with my soul and my mission took flight

It wasn't overnight though, it was a series of lessons that seemed to take a toll on my "said identity" in this world

In a world where we want to fit in and not be discounted or mistreated

A world where we go by the societal norms to justify our place

Where we deny our truth to save face

My idea of who I am is different than your expectations

My role does not need dictation

I'm free to be me, tuned into my own station

My goal is to help the nation build a stronger foundation

Built on truth, to help all relations for the future generations
