Purify my body,
make me whole again,
ridding me of all toxins and sin.
Purify my mind, set my soul ablaze
Pushing past this rage, into a phase in my life that I may roam,
escaping my cage
setting me on a rampage
to wreck this stage of my existence.
Cleanse my body
so that they can see me,
not the ruggedness of the world
that's bottled up inside of me.
Cleanse my mind
so that I can be free of the thoughts that's taunted me forever . . .
please,
just let me be.
Be who I was created to be
with my light shining upon and within me,
spreading out to the world to illuminate the way
beyond this space, yet starting at the base.
At the root of my pain, accept my mind,
show me
that you understand me.
Accept my intelligence as a part of me,
to be nurtured and cultivated,
ultimately.
Purify, cleanse and accept
this is the mantra that I must intercept
upon the negative thoughts that continually collect
amidst my conscious I protest,
I am here . . .
feel me.
I am here . . .
hear me,
I am here . . .
acknowledge me.
Then . . .
free me.
