I can open the gate but I can't push you through it.
You can make me wait, but I won't guarantee I'll stay.
The pitfalls of love when it's absence causes quarrels.
Impossible relationships
I feel like I’m suffocating . . .
no, I'm drowning in my love for you
I reached for your hand
But you couldn't stand up for me
Should I go, or should I stay?
Was the title of my story in that state
I don't want to lose you but, it feels like it's too late
You made your choice against my will
You toyed with my emotions
by not showing your devotion
I slipped through the door
looking to soar (with you)
to explore our love
because, I adored you
You let her chase me away
You must not have wanted me to stay
And you left me alone
to wallow on my own
Why can't you see it my way?
It's all in the details they say
It's all in the things he does, but mostly in the things he doesn’t say.
Now that I deduced the whole situation
I'm left to mend this hole (in my heart) and the devastation
the fire was so bright, that it burned right through the night
Now I'm left resisting the urge to fight
I was clear on the question, and you answered
Now I can see . . .
I opened the gate
Will you continue to make me wait?
