The Platform

I like this platform

It makes me feel as if I can weather any storm

I can take on many forms

be myself and destroy the norms

This wasn't the original form

that I planned out before

but, as time went on it took on a life of its own

Now I'm offered a stance to express my plans

possibly encompass a lifetime of fans

who understands my stand

and why I feel a need to advance my plans

I want this to be a catchall

no matter how advanced or small

I make the call

Whenever I feel a stall or a need to withdraw

I plan a way to prevent the fall

This platform is my stand against my own mind at times

against the ego that tries to take over and trick the mind

It's fine,

I intertwine my time with the mind of the Divine

and out comes a space where things are fine and in their place

And this is just a taste
